Unique Beads
Trollbeads are glass beads that don’t have names and you won’t find these beads in a catalog. Unique Trollbeads are cherished and collected by Trollbeads collectors world wide. They are created by a joint effort between Lise Aagaard, Trollbeads Founder and head glass bead designer and the artisans that create the beads. Once the artisans reach the level of ability required by Trollbeads they then have total artistic license to create whatever they want. Many of the artisans are based in communities in need such as in India where the Aagaard’s have trained and support the Tibetan artisans. Trollbeads as a company has a truly authentic philanthropic philosophy.
Lise Aagaard, together with an organization called Tibet Charity, developed the Tibet Beads Project in 2005 to give unemployed Tibetan refugees in India an opportunity to learn new skills and earn an income.
