Our Trollbeads "Glass Group 2", much like our Trollbeads "Glass Group 1", are a selection of unique and extraordinary beads. As with our first grouping of glass Trollbeads, molten glass is wound around a mandrel, which is a thin length of stainless steel, to form the bead. However, the beads we feature in our Trollbeads "Glass Group 2" are much more intricate creations, resulting in beads with a finished result rarely seen in glass work.
Additional steps are taken to bring each bead to its creative limit. The Trollbeads "Chakra" series, along with "Black Gold", "Third Eye", "Pink", and "Light Blue" feature a brilliant trail of 24K gold leaf. This gold leaf is applied to each bead, surrounding the various colors. The gold enhanced beads are then finished with a layer of clear glass. The strong colors of the Chakras make an effective contrast against the bright gold.
The unique shape of the "Dichroic Ice" bead is amazing, shimmering with bright sparkles of color reflected from the white, mirror-finish glass. This bead has earned its name as this effect is similar to when the sun's rays bounce off of crystals of ice. Each bead in the "Group 2 Glass" Trollbeads collection is a work of art.
The last series within the Trollbeads "Glass Group 2" are the "Earth", "Silver Mountain" and "Golden Cave" Trollbeads.
