Trollbeads chain was designed by a German jeweler who understood the importance of strength, functionality and beauty. Each chain is engineered to require no soldering and therefore there is no area to become weak. The fine German craftsmanship of the Troll chain allows it to drape beautifully and yet is strong enough to hold as many beads as you want to put on any one chain. No economical shortcuts have ever been attempted in the production of this chain and its flexibility and durability attests to this fact.
Trollbead chains are sold without clasps to give you the choice of all the various locks offered. When ordering a chain, whether it is a bracelet or a necklace, remember the measurement you order will include the length of a lock even though the lock is not included. If you order a 7.5 bracelet chain you will actually be getting around a 6.5 chain. The Trollbeads locks are all roughly the same size and when one is added to the Trollbeads chain, the finished size will be 7.5. (There are 2 exceptions as the Fish Lock and the Flower Lock are longer by 2 centimeters.) Every chain comes with two rings, one on each end which attach to each end of the clasp.
Trollbeads Chains come in many sizes so there is a chain for everyone! The silver bracelets are offered in eleven sizes, just recently Troll beads added a 9.4 bracelet. The 14K gold bracelets are offered in seven sizes. The silver necklaces chains are offered in eight sizes from 15 to 31.5. The 14K Gold necklace chains are offered in six sizes.
