This Trollbead is inspired from the simple form of a bicone, a trademark from the designer of this bead.  The designer was Lars Glad.  The Bicone was available in a black, 18k Gold and this one, the silver version.

The Bicone Trollbeads were introduced in 2002 and were retired in 2006.

In 2010 the designer released a second edition and these can be differentiated by the stampings on the side.  The new release has "GLAD" and 925 stamped on it.  The original Bicones had no stampings. This is the second version created by Lars Glad.
